President Armen Sarkissian has formalized a motion by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to award two foreign ministry staffers with the title of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary.

The diplomatic ranks were awarded to Davit Virabyan, Director of the Armenian foreign ministry Department of Eurasian Region, and Artem Aznauryan, Advisor at the Armenian foreign ministry Department of Multilateral Policy and Development Cooperation’s Division of Multilateral Economic Cooperation, Sarkissian’s Office said in a news release.
